AI Writing-Pattern Check
Paste any text for a fast, private look at sentence rhythm, vocabulary, and formulaic-phrase signals. The result is an uncalibrated writing-pattern heuristic, not proof of who or what wrote the text.
What this check measures
We analyze sentence-length variance, vocabulary richness, contraction rate, formulaic phrases, and writing rhythm. These local signals can appear in both human and generated writing.
The 0–100 number is a pattern score, not a probability that text was written by AI. It is not ZeroGPT, Originality.ai, or Turnitin and does not predict what those services will report. Treat a high score as a prompt to review repetitive or formulaic prose, never as an accusation.
Where it's weak: short passages (under ~150 words) are unreliable; non-native-English and technical or formal writing can be false-flagged as AI; commercial detectors disagree with each other and with us; and a low score here is not a guarantee that any other tool agrees.
Our current 81-text corpus is useful for development regression checks, but it was consulted while weights and the operating point were selected and its source provenance has not completed independent review. It is therefore not a blind benchmark. The correction and requirements for a publishable evaluation are in our detector development note.
The writing-pattern check is free for up to 10 checks per day per IP, with each check up to 2,000 words. No signup required.
